Project Overview

Singapore’s Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) continues to develop its network of land transport system. As part of the LTA’s development, it built a Circle Line (CCL) to link all Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line running into the city.

854 Farrer Station forms part of the Circle Line project. The construction of which includes a total of four stations and twin bored tunnels spanning over a route length of approximately 6.3km.

The twin bored tunnels join CCL Stage 3’s contract 853 at the southern wall of Marymount Station and CCL Stage 4 contract 854 at the outside face of the cut and cover tunnels to the south of Farrer Road Station. In addition, 854 Farrer Station includes the construction of facilities such as the station entrances, ventilation shafts, Subway links and other structures and provisions required for integration with the future developments

 

TBH’s Role

TBH was tasked with reviewing and providing a critical analysis of Taisei Corporation’s construction programme for the works at 854 Farrer Station. This involved:

  • A detailed analysis of Taisei Corporation’s construction progamme total time for construction
  • Individual activity durations and external dependencies

TBH also reviewed the programme functionalities and logic highlighting any concerns in a final report.
